Frosted Peanut Butter Supreme Quest Bar



By now, it’s no secret that I love Quest Bars. And I’m always looking for ways to combine ingredients to create fun and delicious desserts out of my favorite foods- and thus the warm, frosted Peanut Butter Supreme Quest Bar was born!

You will need:

  • Greek yogurt
  • Vanilla extract
  • Truvia or any other sweetener, honey or agave nectar works fine, too
  • Cinnamon
  • Peanut Butter Supreme Quest Bar

To make the vanilla cream, combine 2 oz Greek yogurt with 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1/2 packet Truvia (or 1 tsp honey or agave nectar) and a sprinkle of cinnamon and set aside.  Put the Quest Bar on a microwave-safe plate and warm it up for 30 seconds in the microwave.  Top the Quest Bar with the vanilla cream and enjoy your Frosted Peanut Butter Supreme Cookie!

BONUS:

Greek yogurt is an incredibly versatile base for dips, sauces, and creams. Start with the vanilla cream you made above, and add it to fresh or frozen berries, use it as a pancake topping, or stir it into your oatmeal in the morning. Substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream in any dip, including french onion dip, or ranch or blue cheese dressing.  Find dressing bases at the grocery store and give it a try!

  1. Rachel_Mac’s vanilla cream frosting is so good on the Quest bars, it’s hard just to eat one! When the peanut butter supreme Quest bar is microwaved, it does seriously taste like you are eating a PB cookie with frosting on top, delish! I like to eat mine before working out or going to a fitness class. Before my last boot camp class I told everyone I had a cookie before I came =) Next time I am going to try the vanilla cream with the vanilla almond crunch bar. I also topped the vanilla cream on Oxygen Magazine’s healthy no-bulge brownies and dipped sliced apples in it…it is so versatile! I can’t wait to try it with other things, like oatmeal or quinoa.
