Ingredients:

Waffle

  • 2 scoops Quest® Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder
  • ¼ cup zero-calorie sweetener
  • 3 tablespoons oat flour
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • ¼ cup light sour cream
  • 6 tablespoons egg whites
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Nonstick cooking spray

 

Cream Cheese Icing

 

Topping:

  • 2 tablespoons sugar-free dark chocolate chips

 

Method:

Waffle

  1. Heat a waffle iron to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine Quest Protein Powder®, sweetener, oat flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk in almond milk, sour cream, egg whites, egg, food coloring, and vanilla extract until thick and smooth.
  3. Coat waffle iron with cooking spray.
  4. Add a ½ cup of waffle batter and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Repeat with remaining batter.

 

Cream Cheese Icing

In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients until smooth.

Assembly

Top waffles with chocolate chips. Drizzle icing over waffles, and serve.
