Celebrate National Donut Day, aka the best food day ever, with a #CheatClean Donut recipe created for you by our Quest Chefs. They’ve also provided SIX different topping recipes for you to choose from!

Yields: 9 donuts

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 12 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

1 1/2 scoops Quest® Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder
1 scoop Quest® Multi-Purpose Mix Protein Powder
1/4 cup whole milk
1/4 cup egg whites
1/2 cup zero calorie sweetener
1/2 cup brown rice flour
2 tablespoons oat flour
2 tablespoons almond flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup coconut oil (for frying)

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Add milk, egg whites and baking powder into a medium-sized bowl and whisk together.
3. Add all remaining ingredients and use a rubber spatula to mix together until a dough ball is formed.
4. Roll out dough to 1/2″ thickness.
5. Use a 3″ doughnut cutter to begin cutting doughnuts.
6. Reform a dough ball when necessary and roll out to 1/2″ thickness and repeat process until 9 doughnuts are made.
7. Use a thermometer to heat coconut oil to 325°F.
8. Fry doughnuts 10 seconds or less on each side or until golden brown.
9. Place doughnuts on a baking tray and bake for 7-8 minutes.
10. Let doughnuts cool for 4-5 minutes.

Sweet Cinnamon

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons zero-calorie sweetener
1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
Method:
1. Mix together in a bowl
2. Shake doughnut in mixture until evenly coated

Zero-Calorie Glaze

Ingredients:

1/2 cup zero calorie sweetener
1/2 tablespoons water
Method:
1. Mix together ingredients.
2. Microwave in 15 second increments until glaze is fully melted.
3. Dip doughnut in warm glaze and let set.

Chocolate Icing with Chocolate Chunks & Shredded Coconut

Ingredients:

1 scoop Quest®Chocolate Milkshake Protein Powder
1 Chocolate Brownie Quest Bar®
3 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
3 tablespoons zero-calorie sweetener
9 teaspoons chopped sugar-free chocolate chunks
9 teaspoons shredded coconut

Method:

1. Melt Quest Bar and almond milk in microwave for 45 seconds.
2. Add melted Quest Bar® and almond milk into a food processor.
3. Process until almost smooth.
4. Add Quest® Protein Powder and sweetener.
5. Mix in processor until smooth, thick and creamy.
6. Remove and set aside.
7. Use 1 tablespoon icing for each doughnut.
8. Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon of chocolate chunks and coconut.

Peanut Butter Icing with PB Cravings

Ingredients:

1 scoop Quest® Peanut Butter Protein Powder
1 Peanut Butter Supreme Quest Bar®
1 package Quest® Peanut Butter Cravings
3 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
3 tablespoons zero-calorie sweetener

Method:

1. Melt Quest Bar and almond milk in microwave for 45 seconds.
2. Add melted Quest Bar® and almond milk into a food processor.
3. Process together until almost smooth.
4. Add Quest® Protein Powder and sweetener.
5. Mix in processor until smooth, thick and creamy.
6. Remove and set aside.
7. Use 1 tablespoon icing for each doughnut.
8. Chop Quest Cravings into small pieces.
9. Separate Cravings into 9 equal parts.
10. Top doughnut with 1 part Cravings.

Ingredients:

1 scoop Quest® Strawberries & Cream Protein Powder
1 Strawberry Cheesecake Quest Bar®
3 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
3 tablespoons zero-calorie sweetener
4 drops red food coloring
2 tablespoons sugar-free strawberry jam
1/2 tablespoons water

Method:

1. Melt Quest Bar and almond milk in microwave for 45 seconds.
2. Add melted Quest Bar® and almond milk into a food processor.
3. Mix together until almost smooth.
4. Add Quest® Protein Powder and sweetener and red food coloring.
5. Mix in processor until smooth, thick and creamy.
6. Remove and set aside.
7. Use 1 tablespoon icing for each doughnut.
8. Add jam and water into a blender and blend until smooth.
9. Drizzle 1 teaspoon on each doughnut.

Ingredients:

1 scoop Quest® Vanilla Milkshake Protein Powder
2 Cookies & Cream Quest Bars®
3 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk
3 tablespoons zero-calorie sweetener

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Melt Quest Bar and almond milk in microwave for 45 seconds.
3. Add melted Quest Bar® and almond milk into a food processor.
4. Process together until almost smooth.
5. Add Quest® Protein Powder and sweetener.
6. Mix in processor until smooth, thick and creamy.
7. Remove and set aside.
8. Use 1 tablespoon icing for each doughnut.
9. Break 2nd Quest Bar into small pieces and bake for 5 minutes.
10. Let cool and separate into 9 equal parts.
