Questify: Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Questify: Chocolate Chip Cookies!

In this new weekly column, learn how to Questify your favorite foodie indulgences!

As a chef at Quest Nutrition (real job, I swear), I get to create healthy recipes all day long. And since I love food of all kinds, I basically have to eat unhealthy stuff all the time. Now I know what you’re thinking, “how does someone who constantly eats unhealthy food also create healthy recipes?!” Well, for the longest time I justified this juxtaposition by calling my food adventures “research.” After all, how else would I get inspiration for all the macro-friendly foods I concoct in the Quest kitchen? While on my latest drive around town to find the hottest new foodie hotspots I thought “I need to turn this into my job!” So, naturally I decided to give some the most liked foods on Instagram a complete macro makeover. I’m setting out to Questify all my favorite cheat meals.

This month I have been obsessed with the Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich. But I won’t be making an ice cream cookie sandwich, which is basically an excuse to have cookies with your ice cream. No, this is a master’s course in food insanity. I’m going to create an Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich with churros…and donuts (don’t look at me that way) because why settle for just one? So instead of spending an hour scrolling through the #foodporn tag on IG (no shame) to find such a creation, I remembered, I’m a chef, I’ll just make my own. And now, so can you! Save the drive. Save the time. Heck, save your cheat meal. The homemade option is way better! You pumped yet? Good! Grab your weights and grab your pan. Okay, now put down the weights (for safety reasons) but keep the pan because it’s time to get cooking!

Rather than throw you in the deep end of creating an ice cream cookie sandwich churro donut extravaganza, I’ll start off small. Today I’m going to introduce you to my version of the cookie we’ll be using to create our final masterpiece. In this recipe, I upped the protein, surgically removed over half the calories, carbs and fat without altering the flavor. Say hello to the Chocolate Chip Qookie. I even Questified the name. See below for the step-by-step instructions. Enjoy! (Next week I’m going to teach you how to Questify a donut, so come back!)

Joe, I’m on Reddit and hashing it out with folks. Can you tell us more about the photo of the cookie with cookies on top? Is this your image or a stock photo? Can you email me please? Thanks.

I love Quest Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough bars, they are by far the best product ever created! Since going on the Keto diet, I’ve been having serious sweet cravings – now, that I have been introduced to Quest, I know I will be successful at getting to my goal weight without falling victim to sweets. Can’t wait to try this cookie!! Thanks Quest! If you ever need a spokesperson, I’m your man!!!!

Can someone mail me a diet plan using Quest to successfully lose weight. I did the Ideal Protein Weightloss Protocol for 2 years and lost 60lbs but their products got too expensive.

Does someone have a journal or suggestions using the recipes and products? Thanks !

      Hello,

We don’t have a Quest diet plan, but many of the Quest employees adhere to the IIFYM (If It Fits Your Macros) diet, which isn’t necessarily a diet at all since you can eat what you want as long as you’re dilligent about sticking to the program. https://iifym.clickfunnels.com/iifym-start-here-2 is a good place to start if you’re interested. 🙂
