Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Overnight Oats
We present a creation from blogger Kim Lee (owner of http://www.hungryhealthygirl.com). Here is her Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Overnight Oats:
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Overnight Oats (serves one)
Ingredients:
1/2 cup old fashioned rolled oats (gluten-free, if preferred)
1 pitted date, finely chopped
1 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 tsp honey (maple syrup would also work)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk + about 1/2 cup more for serving (any milk works, but taste may vary)
chocolate chips or carob chips for sprinkling over the top when serving (optional, but recommended)
1/4 of a chopped Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Quest Protein Bar (optional, but recommended) (they are gluten-free)
Instructions:
Combine oats, date, chia, honey, cinnamon, 1/2 cup almond milk in a jar or container. Cover and store in the refrigerator for a couple of hours or overnight.
When you’re ready to serve; pour oats into a bowl and add about 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk (or desired amount and type). I like to allow my oats to sit out of the fridge for about 10 mins, to take the chill off. Also, you could warm oats up in the microwave for a few seconds. Top with chopped Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Quest Protein Bar and mini chocolate chips or carob chips.
Enjoy!!
