Lemon and Oregano Grilled Chicken


Another simple and delicious way to cook everyone’s favorite protein source.

Like so many things, this is best if you have a grill, but it works great on skillet.

You will need:

4- 6oz boneless skinless chicken breasts – Pounded thin with a mallet.

5  teaspoons  grated lemon rind

1  tablespoon  olive oil

1 1/2  teaspoons  dried oregano

3/4  teaspoon  kosher salt

1/2  teaspoon  ground black pepper

1/4  teaspoon  water

2  garlic cloves, minced


Combine lemon, olive oil, oregano, salt, pepper, water and garlic; then rub evenly over both sides of chicken.

Place chicken on the grill or skillet and cook 3 minutes on each side or until chicken is done. Remove from heat.

Squeeze 1 lemon wedge evenly over each chicken breast half.

Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley over chicken.
