Let’s Take A Walk In Their Shoes.
In an age of increasingly volatile rhetoric and anonymity on the internet, it’s easy to forget that we’re all walking through this life together. With the news headlines trying to divide the U.S. into two groups, we’re here to bring everyone back together. The theme for April is in their shoes.
In this issue you’ll step into the second chapter of heroine Jane as she struggles to understand the world around her. Take a peek behind the curtain to brave new research being done in the name of ending metabolic disease through Epigenix Foundation. Our travel contributor, Danielle, doles out sage advice on how to live your dream and travel the globe without a care in world. Literally step into someone else’s shoes and see the world through their eyes on our HTC Vive VR coverage. See how one Quest employee gets paid without doing any work at all and how another learned to let go of his fears and doubts and say yes to an epic journey. Sift through another month of emotional news stories that don’t get the attention they deserve, and ponder the possibilities that lie within our 2nd blackout poem.
On a personal note, I want to thank everyone who has supported and shared our inaugural efforts with The Bloq last month. It’s my goal to continue to provide meaningful stories and moving accomplishments that celebrate the human will.
Next month we’re pulling our theme from the Quest Belief System with stories that will “Motivate and Inspire Those Around You.” Until then, let us know what you want to see in this space in the comments below.
