So you have decided to lose some weight , and start working out and focus on your nutrition. Where do you start?
Undergoing any transformation begins by changing your way of thinking. You have to first visualize what you want to achieve. A vision board is a great way to start. Write down your goal on a board and post it where you can see it every day. Find a picture of that perfect body you want and post it next to your goal. Seeing what you want to achieve is the first step in transforming your mind and your body.
I have competed in over 40 fitness, figure, bikini and sports model competitions and none of these competitions would have been possible without believing in myself. I think where most people fail when it comes to making a body transformation, is in their mind set. When you can visualize yourself achieving your goal you can stay focused and positive. This will keep you on track with your workouts and diet.
When I started visualizing myself winning competitions, I started placing better in my shows. I now have 33 fitness, bikini and sports model first place titles. The key to my success was not just in training hard at the gym and focusing on my diet, but when I read the book, “The Secret”. This book is truly amazing in transforming your mental focus and how you see yourself. It retrains your thoughts to only focus on the positive and teaches you to turn every negative experience into a positive. When you think positive thoughts you make them a reality and bring them into your life.
So when you are ready to undergo a new body, get ready to prepare your mind first and the rest of your body will follow. Your thoughts will become things you want in your life. We all want 6 pack abs so start by visualizing yourself with a flat, toned midsection.
Now you are ready to hit the gym and focus on your diet. Seeing is believing!!!
