Blackout Poem: May
Huge thanks to Quest Fan Sam Illas! She’s the winner of May’s Blackout Poem Submission!
This month on the Bloq, we’re excited to showcase our fan-submitted blackout poem from last month’s “Virtually a Kid Again” article.
This epic poem comes from Quest fan Sam Ellas — a senior at N.C. State University. She’s graduating in December 2016 with her B.A. in English with a concentration in Linguistics, Rhetoric and Writing. Before graduation, she plans to become a certified personal trainer. In addition to her academics, Sam feel in love with weight training almost two years ago and has been a regular gym-goer ever since. Her first natural figure show is in May 2016. After graduation, Sam is following her dream career — helping others pursue their own dreams. To quote Sam, “Whether it be educating others on fitness or nutrition in my writing or getting up close and personal as a trainer, as long as people are smiling, happy, and healthy, it’s all good.
