Goodbye 2016

Jumping into the New Year 2017
Transformations

There’s a growing animosity toward 2016, which means that it’s time to look forward to the future. Massive changes are surely coming our way, but during these times it’s important to practice self-love, set sights on goals that move us ahead and deal with the pitfalls of the future.

This month I asked our writers to take a look back at the year that was with fondness. Because at the end of the day, whether or not we had a good year or a bad year comes down to us and the choices we make. I fall in the latter camp, the one where I’m looking forward to leaving 2016 in the dust, but I still hold hope for the future. Personally, this is the year where I finally tackle my demons, take better care of myself and ensure that I’m there for those who need me.

A new year is symbolic with new beginnings, but I implore you to read our articles this month and understand that you don’t need a new year to be a new you. That can start right now as you’re reading these words. It all comes down to a choice, so what are you going to accomplish in 2017?
